Eye examinations usually take 30-40 minutes and are tailored by the Optometrist to satisfy your needs and requirements. There are a number of standard tests we perform, but as we like to treat every patient as an individual, the optometrist will tailor the examination to satisfy your own specific needs and requirements.
As well as testing for any visual correction required the Optometrist checks for potential eye problems such as glaucoma, Cataract and Macular Degeneration and if need be we can refer patients on for the next stage of treatment if it is required. We advise regular eye examinations for everyone including children even when you are not experiencing difficulties.
Jean Rigby Opticians stocks an extensive range of designer eyewear collections at our Chorley and Bamber Bridge stores. Browse through the many designer frames from the world’s most fashionable brands, which can be fitted with your prescription lenses, at prices to suit all budgets.
Our staff can advise on shape, colour and fit to meet your individual requirements and ensure your chosen designer glasses enhance your features, lifestyle and vision.
At Jean Rigby Opticians we are happy to accept spectacle and contact lens prescriptions, for adults and children, from other opticians.
Our dispensing opticians can provide advice on the various lens options available to suit your prescription as well as frames that look stylish and are comfortable to wear.
Thick and heavy lenses are a thing of the past. Nearly everyone can now benefit from thin and light lenses. They significantly improve the appearance and comfort of your spectacles, particularly if you have a high prescription.
